Lunch w/ Mum @ Manhattan Fish Market

It was Mum's last day with me at KL. :(

We went to Sunway Pyramid again to get some other things that I still lack at my new home like clothes rack, toilet paper, broom and etc. After all the work, we had a rest and had lunch at Manhattan Fish Market.

I don't think I've ever seen Mahattan Fish Market so crowded in Kuching. Maybe it's more popular here? And they had the Lunch Hour Promotion, which was what attracted us to eat here in the first place.

It was my honour to be dining with the prettiest lady in the world. :)

Had the Grilled Fish with Garlic Herb Rice, and the Classic Fish & Chips. For the lunch promotion, we had also a drink and soup of the day for only RM16.90 per set.

Garlic and Herb Mussels with bread.

It was a pleasant lunch but all the while I feel sad inside because it would be the last meal I have with Mum till the next time we meet. :( I'm missing her so much right now.

And yes, I'm missing everyone at home. I miss him. I miss Vanilla. :( I tend to get emotional at times but I try to distract myself by thinking more about the happy things. Don't worry, I'll manage. :) Just to inform, I'm blogging from school right now. I won't be blogging till next week, that's when we come back from the National Day holiday.  Happy National Day Malaysia!!

I'll blog about school and my new friends soon so stay tuned. :)

With all the love,

New Life in KL

I'm now in KL (Sunway to be exact) and I'll be officially starting school next week! :D

I haven't the time for blogging lately because Orientation Week was hectic (for law students especially omg!), and I have no wifi services at where I'm staying now. I was supposed to count down till my trip like I said in my last post, but I didn't have time to do so.

Mum accompanied me here and stayed for 3 days. :) During her stay, we took two trips down to the city central to shop a little. Pictures were taken outside Sungei Wang.

Time Square.

It was Mum's 1st night there. Had our dinner at a road side hawker store before heading to Sunway Pyramid to do some electrical appliances shopping.

I moved into my current apartment room on Mum's 2nd day here. :) Note that we moved ALL the things in the picture from the hotel to the room all by ourselves. Crazy work, really.

The empty room with furniture provided when we first arrived...

...Is now my room. :)

Love the curtains I chose? I love it too. :D But it doesn't go with the bed, oh wells. Ask me, why don't my bed sheets and quilt match? Long story, lazy to tell. lol

The ugly pillow on my bed is my Stinky- I bring it everywhere. At first, I hesistated whether or not to bring along my teddy because it's so big and bulky. Luckily I did because hugging him to sleep makes me feel safe and in a way, not so alone.

My little study desk with food all over, water on my left and toiletries on the right.

The happy me after finally done with unpacking and arranging everything. :) Mum didn't help at all

With Cousins, count down to KL

Hello. :) Just like the post title, I'm gonna count down to 22nd, the day of my actually fly to KL.

Travelling to KL is actually not a big deal for some, but it's my first time leaving home. I'm very very excited, so yea, I'm making a big deal about it! Lol.

I'm trying my best to fit everything into these last 3 days- packing, spending time with family, spending time with him, meeting as many friends as possible... I think I won't be able to see all the friends I wanted to cuz really, I'm running out of time. :(

So I got a new laptop. Mum bought me the notebook I chose to have. And I've been wanting a white laptop since forever. Thanks Mum. :')

It was the first day of Hari Raya, and I went to visiting with my ex-colleagues. :)

We went to three houses that day. Had some awesome Beef Rendang and for me personally, it's the best dish of Raya and the best of all the rendangs.

One of the houses belonged to a High Court judge. the gorgeous house came with an awesome backyard with a gorgeous little cabin built there. :)

Remember this guy? My cousin Leon from England that came back 2 years ago. :) He's back again!

We used to spend so much time together every time he comes back. He's back for 2 weeks, and I'm guilty for not being able to hang out with him as often as we used to this time round due to my trip to KL. I'm making effort to spend as much time as possible with this guy now. :)

Chocolates and a Jesse J tee from him and his family. :)

After my visiting, I met up with these guys and went to eat at Life Cafe for lunner (lunch+dinner, lol). :)

Life Cafe is famous for its Spicy Noodles. It's nice and all, but I can't really take overly spicy food hence I always go for the Lau Mian.

We had nothing to do on our minds so we randomly went to Hielo and shared a size 04. It was the 'his first-bite' face, lol.

Night, we went to The Spring initially wanting to watch Total Recall (yea I know I've watched it before lol. Thing was they haven't so yea) but ended up having watched nothing because the show time was almost sold out and we have no seats.

We spent our time at the arcade and I kicked his ass at the Basketball Machine. ;)

We played the dancing machine as well. Sister is better than me at this. :/

It was almost 12am and we had supper at Mcd's before heading back. A day well spent. :)

With all the love,

P.S. It's 3.20 on 21st Aug right now. I'm so sleepy... Finished this post as fast as possible so I can go have some shut eye now. Final day in Kch tomorrow! Feeling anxious.

Ive's Birthday

It was Ivelyn's birthday yesterday and a few of us went to Porkies to celebrate with her. :) 'Stay Dark' was the kind wish written on the cake for the birthday girl, lol.

On the bottom left corner are her gorgeous newly bought Sony Xperia S, and my ancient (Lol, what Jong calls it) used-for-don't-know-how-long-now Nokia Xpress Music. I want SIII TT... And on her lap sat the cute wallet I bought for her from Shanghai the year before the last. :)

Carbonara was alright. Had the Mixed Grill, shared with Yian Ping. :) Chicken was dry and the whole dish was cold. It was the first time I feel disappointed by the grilled meats at Porkies. :/

Was too full to have the grilled corn so we left it for Jong to finish it up for us. This picture is simply annoying lol!

Forgot to have a group shot before some leaving so there was only some of us in the pictures. I hate my hair. Birthday girl left earlier too because she had to go back to work. Nice and simple gathering. :)

With all the love,
