Intro pic is a little overly edited don't mind me haha. Today I wanna share in short about my date with Sue to Kirkstall Abbey one Sunday around a month ago. :)
That afternoon, we made our way to Kirkstall Abbey on foot. Kirkstall Abbey is located at the outskirts of Leeds and it's considerably near to where we live. It was a nice uphill-downhill walk of about 20 minutes passing through housing areas with nice scenery along the way.
#OOTD was casual and simple. Grey snood- Primark // black sweater- H&M // jeans- Padini Authentics // flats- New Look // bag- Charles and Keith
Unlike weather in Leeds now, a few weeks ago it was chilly but sunny out and relatively warm that I could get away without wearing a coat. It's now getting so cold and wet almost everyday that its quite depressing really lol.
"Kirkstall Abbey is one of Britain's best preserved Cistercian abbeys." Love places that has a lot of history and beauty in architecture.
Scenery around the beautiful court yard of the abbey. On certain weekends, farmers markets are held here for the local community. :)
A miniature model of how the abbey used to look like.
This is the grand hall and it is the main attraction of Kirkstall Abbey. Look at how tiny we are inside of what's left of the hall. Let me treat it as Hogwart's Great Hall please. It was so peaceful and nice in here it took my breath away.
Had a nice afternoon tea at their Cafe House before heading back. :) Notice how Sue is holding nothing in her hand- nothing weird about that O.O
Did I mention Kirkstall Abbey is surrounded by greenery as well as nice park? When we were there there were a lot of families out and people walking their dogs there.
Dinner was back in Headingley at a place called Brett's Fish & Chips. Empty restaurant because it is more famous as a take-away. Had their Haddock and Chips while Sue had their Fish Cakes. It was a Sunday nicely spent. :)
With all the love,
