Brussels: European Quarter & Cinquantenaire Park
Rise and shine, day 2 in Brussels. :) After breakfast at the hotel we stopped at Grand Place before starting our day. It was a lovely day of perfect weather- no rain, a little breezey and sunny but not too much haha need I say more.
Had waffles too. :D I had the waffles with fresh cream and Bev had hers with Nutella.
The distance between Grand Place and Cinquantenaire Park is 3km and we made the journey on foot. It took us around 1 hour I think? A normal human being would've taken the metro but since our last day was a chilled one and the weather was so nice, we decided to walk. On the way we stopped by the European Quarter of Brussels where the European Commission and the European Parliament buildings are located.
Behind us the Arc du Cinquantenaire.
The Royal Museum of the Army and of Military History.
Spam of selfies because the light was so nice and camera setting spot on haha. Not an eventful post but at least got good pictures right? :D Decided to split Day 2 into 2 parts so last post of Brussels soon!
With all the love,
